Ploșnița verde sudică în cultivarea Soiei

Gândacii cu scut (specii de insecte din superfamilia Pentatomoidea) reprezintă insecte dăunătoare serioase în producția de soia la nivel mondial. Aceștia sunt cunoscuți, la fel, sub numele de gândaci puturoși, datorită capacității lor de a emana un miros urât puternic prin glande. Două specii au devenit mai frecvente în ultimii ani în Europa: ploșnița verde sudică (Nezara viridula) și ploșnița marmorata (Halyomorpha halys). Ploșnița verde sudică este o specie cosmopolită. Este o specie polifagă și dăunează unui număr mare de culturi de câmp și legume, soia fiind cultura preferată.
Shield beetles (insect species of the superfamily Pentatomoidea) are serious insect pests in soybean production worldwide. They are also known as stink bugs because of their ability to emit a strong foul odour through their glands. Two species have become more common in recent years in Europe: the southern green cockroach (Nezara viridula) and the marbled cockroach (Halyomorpha halys). The southern green shield bug is a cosmopolitan species. It is a polyphagous species and damages a large number of field and vegetable crops, soybean being the preferred crop.
