Cultivarea lupinului alb

Description

The white lupine (Lupinus albus) is a different botanical species from the narrow-leaved or "blue" lupine (Lupinus angustifolius). This plant is tolerant of heavier soils and has a higher production potential, but does not ripen earlier than August / September. Important cultivation practices include the use of healthy, certified seeds, sowing as early as possible and the use of the right cultivar to reduce the impact of anthracnose fungal disease, which is spread through the seeds. The most important experiences in organic farming are summarized below.
