Белый люпин (Lupinus albus) отличается от узколистного или „синего“ люпина (Lupinus angustifolius). Он переносит более тяжелую почву и имеет более высокий потенциал урожайности, но созревает только в августе/сентябре. The white lupine (Lupinus albus) is different from the narrow-leaved or "blue" lupine (Lupinus angustifolius). It tolerates heavier soil and has higher yield potential, but only matures in August/September. Important growing practices include using healthy, certified seeds, planting as early as possible, and using the right varieties to reduce exposure to the fungal disease anthracnose, which is seed-borne. In this Practice Note, the most important experience of organic farming is summarized.
