Description
This study documents and interprets the medicinal, nutritional, and spiritual knowledge encoded in the flora of Costa Rica, with special emphasis on the Osa Peninsula. Integrating ethnobotany, complexity science, and fractal epistemology, it proposes the concept of “Fractal Ethnobotany” — a multi-layered understanding of plants as informational nodes within living systems. The research validates indigenous and campesino wisdom through scientific correlation and explores the energetic and symbolic dimensions of plant consciousness. The document serves as the first annex (Annex I) to the Fractal Medicine study and the foundational reference for the future DAO Etnobotánico de Mystic Mountain — a digital-ethical network for biodiversity knowledge custody
