EmbryoPhenomics www.embryophenomics.org is an open-source technological platform for high-throughput quantification of developing aquatic embryos. It consists of some custom hardware OpenVIM www.openvim.org, an open-source video microscope and EmbryoCV www.embryocv.org, an open-source Python based software. These technologies allow high-dimensional screening of large numbers of aquatic embryos over prolonged periods - allowing for the temporally and spatially dynamic period of embryonic development to be quantified automatically and with high precision.
