Borchard International Colloquium: Global Perspectives on Implementation Science in Health and Human Service Settings

This colloquium, “Global Perspectives on Implementation Science in Health and Human Service Settings” was funded by the Borchard Foundation Center on International Education and took place in July 2017 at the Chateau de la Bretesche in Missillac, France. The colloquium hosted implementation scientists from the United States and Europe and focused on integrating implementation theories, concepts, and strategies from multiple services contexts in multiple geographies.  The aims of the colloquium were to 1) share common challenges and effective implementation strategies based on investigator-led programmatic research, 2) distill research experiences across domains and settings into a list of “core priorities” for implementation science, and 3) generate approaches to cross-disciplinary global research for advancing the field of implementation science in health and human service settings.
