ESO Garching, 4–6 June, 2018

Prompted by the recent approval of a study to investigate options for developing the ALMA Observing Tool, we are holding a small workshop to take place at the European Southern Observatory in Garching. This will bring together groups working on proposal submission tools at observatories around the world to review the current status of proposal submission systems, exchange knowledge and experience of recent developments in hardware and software solutions and to explore prospects and plans for the future development of all tools. The emphasis of the workshop will be on discussion with breakout sessions to allow specialised groups to form and focus on specific topics. A session will also be devoted to Authentication and Authorization, including Federations.

To keep numbers to a reasonable limit, attendance at the workshop is by invitation only.
