This repository is exclusively for the extended abstracts of talks presented during the XVI Symposium of Mexican Studies and Students in the UK. All participants should have received an email with detailed instructions.

Extended abstracts must include the following sections:

Title

Author(s)

Affiliation

Introduction (context/background)

Main body (methods/analyses/results/implications)

Conclusions (summary)

References (Harvard style)

Acknowledgements (e.g. CONACyT, FUNED, etc.)

Authors should use the template provided by the Symposium organisers. Contributions are limited to 4 pages (paper size A4). A maximum of two figures/photos and two tables may be included in the document.

All uploaded contributions will be assigned a DOI, and are therefore citable. Please provide an ORCiD number for each author, if possible.

Contributions should be submitted in PDF format. Repository managers will then upload the contributions to the community collection. Authors will be provided with a public URL to the repository. Additionally, authors will be provided with a digital copy of the Symposium Memoirs stored in a USB drive.

Only one contribution per talk/presentation will be uploaded.

Contributions should be submitted by the stated deadline. Contributions that are not associated with a Symposium presentation or talk will not be included in this repository.

The content and quality of the contributions are the author's responsibility. Plagiarism may result in the contribution not being uploaded or being removed from this repository.
